We have the following Andalusians available in our lease, learn, and lesson program: Olivia - Suitable for beginning Intro to Training level or anyone looking to improve their seat and position. Very easy to sit the trot. - Doncella - Suitable for the fit rider with good basics to learn Training thru Second level. - Moteado - Green W/T/C. Suitable for the rider looking for the rewarding ride of bringing a young horse along correctly. Quarter Horse Available (lessons only) Strummie- Suitable for the beginner to 1st level. Very quiet! - Welsh Ponies available: Tina - Suitable for lead line to 1st level or Driving.- Calypso - Suitable for the rider with a good basic seat that would like to learn to train up the levels from Training Level. - Tywyn- Suitable for the experienced rider looking to learn to drive. - Call or email us about this exciting program! Lease program includes one lesson per week and one outing (show, clinic, etc) per month.

Puntero VI

Considering breeding your mare in 2009? A decision not to be taken lightly. In these economically tough times with so many unwanted horses it should be a long and hard thought process to decide to breed your mare. You want to make sure that you will have either a saleable foal or the ONE that you would like to keep. If you have a quality mare then breeding to Puntero VI should assure you both a saleable foal AND the ONE horse of your lifetime. Puntero is such a joy to have as a breeding and riding stallion. He lives quietly in the barn with his mares. His mares and foals are right next to the dressage arena and still Puntero is ever the gentlemen! When I call him up out of his paddock he will come running up looking all for the world like he is going to run me over. At the last minute he slides to a stop with his mane flying (Isn't that romantic!)and then usually coughs grass goo all over my shirt. Well, I guess he's not the perfect stallion after all! But, his offspring (according to many of their owners) are just about perfect! It is so nice to talk to Puntero offspring owners and how much they are enjoying their Puntero babies. The are good movers of excellent character, athletic, and sound. Very fun to train and live with. Come join the fun and breed your good mare to Puntero VI!

After waiting 11 long months Owner Judi Carter finally has her long awaited filly named HF Willow. Willow was born Sunday May 17th at 10:45am. Her dam Olivia generously allowed Judi as well as all of Chris's Yoga class (yoga classes every Tuesday night and Sunday mornings are held here at Hammock Farm) to watch this blessed event. Jean played mid-wife as usual. Willow is by our Champion Driving Welsh Pony Lascaux Ginkgo Wilson and out of our most popular mare Olivia, who is dam of HF Ciela who is long-listed for the WEG's in a 4-in-hand team. Willow should be a world class large driving pony and a safe and comfortable upper level dressage competitor. What a fun journey it will be training this youngster!
